Lisa Sweeney

Assistant Lecturer

Following completion

of my MSc in Nursing Education I have delivered teaching to community health
care Nurses & Public Health Nurses. I have designed and implemented
health promotion educational workshops to ethnic minority groups and to young
teenagers in conjunction with The Traveller Health Projects and The Marie
Keating Foundation. I currently teach on the General, Psychiatric and Dental
Nursing Programmes in AIT and look forward to conducting research in relation
to Primary Health Care Team operations in Ireland.

My main areas of interest include primary health care, child welfare & protection and the development of interprofessional collaboration in undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programmes.
