Paul lectures in the field of data analytics to postgraduate students, and supervises research students at Master’s and PhD level. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Limerick and Dublin City University, where he specialised in the areas of operations management and business process modelling, simulation and analysis. Paul has also worked as a Global Commodity Manager and Supply Chain Consultant at Dell Inc. with responsibility for managing the award of multi-million euro logistics contracts.
In his academic career, Paul has collaborated with many national and international partners in a range of research projects across the service (healthcare, financial services and customer support), production (medical device, semiconductor, technology and pharmaceutical), and supply chain (outsourced manufacturing and third party logistics) industries. He has secured substantial research funding and has published in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.
